It’s rare that we are lucky enough to learn a life-saving lesson while avoiding a disaster.
It happened in January when Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills collapsed on the field. It also happened last summer when Danish soccer star Christian Eriksen collapsed from cardiac arrest at the Euro 2020 match. It has happened repeatedly in Philadelphia.
Heart defibrillators are costly first aid equipment that many under-served communities can’t afford. As a Philly-based USA manufacturer of Outerwear that supports and employs a diverse local community, one of our missions is to provide that community with the resources they need.
